I sat today at a tram stop, waiting to meet a dear young woman who has just started school in the city. She is 17. Her mother and I were pregnant at the same time, we both home birthed our babies 12 days apart and we have spent all these years being aunts and great mothers to each others children.
To sit waiting for this young woman gave me immense pride and brimming love in reflection . We can never underestimate the old saying ” it takes a village to raise a child”.
Who has been significant in your childhood and who now looks to you with love in their eyes? This is a very worthwhile set of questions to reflect on and answer. These are the fabrics of love that create the blankets of our life, they need to be nurtured and cared for.
Be part of a village for immense wellness xx
